This document describes the changes made to the Availability
Manager Analyzer kit for Windows only.

NOTE: The other kits, HP-VMS-AVAIL_MAN_COL and Avail_Man_ANA_SRVR
(for OpenVMS), remain unchanged.
    
 
Problems Corrected

The following problem is corrected in this release:

1. Analyzer unable to send events to the HP OpenView console

The Availability Manager Version 3.1 analyzer, installed on the 
Windows system is unable to send its events to the HP OpenView 
console. The following exception error message is displayed while 
integrating it with OpenView (Operations Manager 8.16 for Windows):

Failed to initiate HP OpenView: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
com/hp/openview/ib/api/jopc/JOpcException
OVOERR Failed to send event event HP OpenView reason =
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
com/hp/openview/ib/api/jopc/JOpcException.

This problem is fixed.

Note: Availability Manager Version 3.1 analyzer on the OpenVMS
system does not forward events to the HP OpenView console.
