      Problems Corrected
      ------------------

      This update contains software fixes for the following problems.

      1. Tomcat does not recognize Java 6.0.


         The SYS$STARTUP:APACHE$JAKARTA_CONFIG.COM procedure has been modified
         to select Java 6.0, if it is installed on the system.


      2. DECC$efs_case_special is no longer defined

         The DECC$efs_case_special logical was required when Tomcat supported only ODS-2 volume.
 
      3. DEFINE DECC$FD_LOCKING TRUE to provide better memory management

         The DECC$FD_LOCKING logical enables additional file descriptor locking for Java.


      Installation instructions
      -------------------------

      To install the kit, do the following:

        $ PRODUCT INSTALL CSWS_JAVA301_UPDATE
