OpenVMS library calls?

» close window

The Question is:

Where do I find a listing of system library XXX$XXXX calls? One in
particular is quite ???- FDV$PUTD. Help doing Y2K code scanning to
determine impact of such on code. System has C, FORTRAN compilers.

The Answer is :

For information on OpenVMS system services and run-time library routines
beyond what is included in the OpenVMS documentation, the Wizard recommends
acquiring the Internals and Data Structures Manuals, and copies of the
  OpenVMS source listings:

QB-MT1AB-E8 OpenVMS Alpha Source Listings CD-ROM
QT-MT1AB-Q8 OpenVMS Alpha Source Listings CD-ROM Updates
QB-001AB-E8 OpenVMS VAX Source Listings CD-ROM
QT-001AB-Q8 OpenVMS VAX Source Listings CD-ROM Updates

The FDV routines are, however, part of the FMS product, and are not part
of OpenVMS, and are not included on the OpenVMS source listings.

Please check the OpenVMS Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for information
on how to obtain information on the Y2K status and plans for various
products, for the recommended testing procedures, and for associated
  information.
