TCP/IP (UCX) X Windows transport performance?

The Question is:

 
When doing a set display /create/node=nodename/transport =DECNET the
performance of the program started therafter
is eqaul to the performance when outputting localy. Doing the same using
TCPIP as transport the
performance is degraded by the factor 10. The UCX verion installed is V4.1
the OpenVMS Version is V7.1-1H2. Do you
have any suggestions in how to attack this problem.

The Answer is :

 
  Upgrade to a more recent version of TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS (UCX),
  with the associated ECO kit.  If this does not resolve the reported
  performance problem, please contact the customer support center.
  Expect to be asked about the X software at the client end (this is
  the end issuing the SET DISPLAY command) and at the server end (this
  is the system or terminal that is directly driving the X display).
