removing DEC C kit?

The Question is:

 
If I want to remove DEC C from my AXP, besides removing the C license, how
do I delete the related files in a systematic way?
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  There is no supported way to do this with products installed via the
  VMSINSTAL tool, short of restoring a BACKUP.  (PCSI has support for
  removing products.)
 
  To determine what files are associated with DEC C, you will need to
  look within the kit and the kit installation procedure to see which
  files were added to the system.
 
  It would likely be easiest to simply delete the DECC$COMPILER.EXE image
  and the license.
