TCP/IP (UCX) LPD no response errors?

The Question is:

 
I'm running an application called IDX on our Alpha and whenever the
application prints to an LTA the job gets held and we get an error message
at the console stating "LPD Retrying failed job:  Number:  275 User:  AMG
Status: %UCX-E-LPD_NORESP, No response
 from remote server".  We have reset the retry interval so that the jobs
print.  As a minimum I would like to eliminate the errors at the console,
but I don't know the exact syntax for setting the logical
UCX$LPD_DONT_NOTIFY_ON_RETRY.  I would really like
 to eliminate the errors completely and would like a sugestion, we are
running UCX 4.1a ECO 9 any help would be appreciated.

  Please consider upgrading to TCP/IP V4.2 or later.
 
  Please contact the customer support center for assistance.
