Problems with DECwindows Keyboard selection?

» close window

The Question is:

I have a ALPHAstation255 with an LK46W keyboard

When I start some X-windows applications (such as LSE )I receive the
message:

X Toolkit Warning: Cannot convert string "US_LK401AA" to type Integer

LK46W is not shown in the list of keyboard.
I cannot enable key click, nor can a change the beep volume or tone.
These are things that used to work on a VAXstation 4000.

Regards
Steve

The Answer is :

The LK46W should require no changes -- it looks and works much like
  the traditional LK401 keyboard.

Please load DECwindows V1.2-3 or V1.2-4 with the associated ECO kit.

Then -- if the problem persists -- please contact the Compaq Customer
  Support Center for assistance.

With the PC keyboard interface, keyclick, the beep volume and the beep
tone are typically not part of the keyboard -- the tones are generated
via internal speaker or via a soundcard.
