Using EVE to edit files in parallel?

» close window

The Question is:

I wish to edit two different files, C.txt and D.txt, during the same editing
session. I start to edit C.txt in the main buffer (that is NVE C.txt).
Now I press the DO key and enter what EVE command to brigh the file D.TXT
into a Different buffer ?

The Answer is :

I assume you're talking about the EVE editor.

At the "Command:" prompt, enter "GET FILE D.TXT". This will create a new
buffer containing D.TXT and display it. The easiest way to change buffers
is with the SHOW BUFFER command which will present you with a list of
buffers. Use arrows to select (highlight) the one you want and hit SELECT
  to go to it.

When working with multiple files, you can use the SPLIT command to divide
the screen into multiple windows. The OTHER command will move the cursor
  from window to window.

See the HELP categories "FILES AND BUFFERS" and "WINDOWS AND DISPLAY" for
  lots more details.
