DECwindows login not displayed?

The Question is:

 
By exiting the CDE- or Motif desktop the
start-login window doesn't reappear and I have
to restart decw$startup. I can patch this by
adding "@sys$startup:decw$startup restart" in
the exit image "xsession.com" or
"decw$startsm.com" for Motif before all
processes are stopped ($stop/id=0). But I'm not
satisfied with this solution in case of using an
X-terminal with different sessions.

  Please acquire and apply any available DECwindows ECO kit for the version
  of DECwindows Motif CDE (V1.2-4 or later) in use, please ensure that the
  system parameters and process quotas are at appropriate values, please
  check the DECwindows server and associated log files, and -- failing
  resolution -- please contact the Compaq customer support center.
