OpenVMS DE500-BA NIC support?

The Question is:

 
I'm attempting to install a DE500-BA NIC card into
an Alphaserver 255 workstation.  Both interfaces,
EWA0 and EWB0 show up at the boot prompt.  I have
configured them for the correct speed and interface
type.  When I boot the system, EWB0 never shows
up.  I have tried sysman io autoconfig to no avail.
Please help, I need to have two NIC interfaces
on this machine.
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  The first release with integrated DE500-BA support is OpenVMS Alpha
  V7.1-1H1.  Operation on OpenVMS Alpha V6.2 requires ALPLAN05_062 (or
  later) and the associated (referenced) kits.
