Transfering larger text files via FTP?

The Question is:

 
Dear Wizard:
 
I have  UCX 4.2 ECO1 on an Alpha 4100 with OpenVms 7.1.
 
I'm having a problem FTP'ing text files over 50kb from a PC (Win95) to the
Alpha running UCX.  Smaller text files work ok, but not larger files.  I can
FTP them as binary files and use FDL to convert it back to a text file, but
rather have a cleaner solut
ion.
 
Is there a UCX configuration parameter that I can tweek or some other way of
doing this cleanly?

The Answer is :

 
  Consider trying TCP/IP Services V5.0.
 
  Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center -- details on what
