The Question is:

 
Is there a file conversion utility that will
convert image files created on an HP Solaris
Unix Workstation (attached to a GE Magnetic
Resonance Imaging Scanner)so that the files
can be read by OpenVMS?

  Without information on the specifics of the format used for the image
  files, an answer is difficult (at best).  There are certainly common
  image formats around, and there are tools that convert formats.
 
  As a start, contact the application vendor and ask about the format
  as well as about interchange formats.  Then contact the Compaq Customer
  Support Center or OpenVMS vendors specializing in image manipulation or
