Asynchronous DECnet on OpenVMS Alpha?

The Question is:

 
I'm running VMS 7.1 on Alpha, phase IV Decnet.
I'm trying to get async DECnet running, and I can't find NODRIVER and
DYNSWITCH as indicated in the SysMgr/Essentials Manual (7.5).
 
Is asynchronous DECnet supported in phase IV DECnet on Alpha (VMS 7.1)?

The Answer is :

 
  OpenVMS Alpha DECnet Phase IV does not include support for asynchronous
  DECnet communications.
 
  Consider using PPP and TCP/IP Services, or consider using a synchronous
  DECnet connection, or consider using an OpenVMS VAX or DECnet router
