» close window

The Question is:

I am trying to find out how to setup Pathworks to beable to print to a laser
printer which is shared off the back of a PC running Windows 98. I believe
that I need to load a patch probably the following patch:

PW32PRT070.A

Is this correct? if so were is this located?

Also if you have any guidance on how you configure pathworks to make the
above possable it would be very much appreciated.

Many Thanks in advance.

The Answer is :

PWPRINT in PATHWORKS 32 V7.1a may be what you are looking for.
As far as the Wizard knows, there are no patches necessary, just
    the base PATHWORKS 32 kit.

From the PATHWORKS 32 Information Shelf:

    Print Services Overview

PATHWORKS 32 Print Services allow you to print from an OpenVMS
or DIGITAL UNIX system to printers connected to Windows 95 or
Windows NT systems, using DECnet or TCP/IP protocols. The OpenVMS
or DIGITAL UNIX system runs the PATHWORKS 32 print client. The
Windows 95 or Windows NT system runs the PATHWORKS 32 print server.

You can also print from an OpenVMS or DIGITAL UNIX system to a
printer located in a PC LAN environment reachable from your PC.
You use normal OpenVMS or DIGITAL UNIX print commands.

RAW mode printing is always attempted; that is, the print client
driver passes data through, with no data conversion occurring on
    the PC.
