(Unknown) problem(s) starting DECnet?

The Question is:

 
I have a alphaStation 255.  I installed 6.2 vms
cannot get decnet running. A circuit error card
is built on motherboard. Any clues?
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  There is insufficient information here -- this could be anything from
  a configuration problem (was NETCONFIG run?) to a licensing problem (the
  DVNETEND or DVNETEXT PAK is required) to a system configuration (AUTOGEN
  with FEEDBACK and REBOOT) to a hardware problem (check the error log).
 
  In general, starting DECnet early in SYSTARTUP_VMS.COM is recommended,
  prior to starting up any other networking protocols.
 
  Please contact the Customer Support Center for assistance.  Specifics of
  the error message(s) received, the DECnet Phase, configuration status,
  information on the relevent contents of the system error log, etc, will
