Dual-boot Windows NT and OpenVMS?

The Question is:

 
We would like to install Windows NT Server 4.0 on our AlphaServer 1000a,
which is currently running OpenVMS 7.1.  Is there a way to do this without
removing OpenVMS?
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  On another disk, certainly.
 
  You will have to toggle the console from SRM to AlphaBIOS/ARC when you
  switch operating systems.  This usually requires a system power-cycle.
 
  Do not allow Microsoft Windows NT to write anything to any disks other
  than those that it "owns", no matter how harmless the update might be
