OpenVMS Upgrade Path?

The Question is:

 
I have Open Vms release 7.2, can you simplify the process for upgrade.  Our
current version of 7.1 has not been patched are all patches included in 7.2?

  Your question is sufficiently terse as to be ambiguous.
 
  Please see the OpenVMS FAQ for the available upgrade paths.
 
  V7.1-2 and V7.2 were released at approximately the same time, and both
  contain a very similar set of ECO kits.
 
  V7.1-2 is intended for customers that wish to or need to remain on a
  V7.1-vintage release, and provides a simple and expeditious way to
  install the then-current ECO kits.
 
  V7.2 contains various new features, in addition to the contents of the
  V7.1-2 release.  (The V7.2-1 upgrade for V7.2 is presently available.)
 
  There are ECOs available for both V7.1-2 and for V7.2.  For information
  on acquiring ECO kits and related ECO mailing lists, please see the
  OpenVMS FAQ.  Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center for the
  current list of recommended ECO kits, or check the support database for
  an article with "incorporated" in the title -- this keyword is part of
  the article title that is traditionally used to contain the list of ECOs
