BACKUP WRITEERR and RSA errors? (sys$output)

The Question is:

 
Technical Manager,
 
After upgrade vax5.5-2 to v6.2 ,we facing backup interrupt problem.error
code as below:
 
%BACKUP-F-WRITEERR,error writing sys$output:.;
-RMS-E-RSA ,record stream currently active.

The Answer is :

 
  First, please acquire the available BACKUP ECO kit, and apply it.
 
  If the problem persists, please contact the Compaq Customer Support
  Center directly.  Expect to be asked for further details of the problem
  being reported here -- such as the exact BACKUP command used, and the
  details of the environment (batch, DCL procedure, etc) for the BACKUP.
 
  As potential workarounds, look at the use of /LIST and /LOG, and look
  for any specification of SYS$OUTPUT as the output device -- change it
  to an explicit file.  Also -- if this is a batch procedure and is
  occuring on the log file -- try using $ SET OUTPUT_RATE=10:00:00 to
  alter the flush rate.
