Video Interface (LCD) Graphics Compatibility?

The Question is:

 
I would like to use an LCD screen on an AlphaStation running OpenVMS V 6.2.
I have a digital LCD screen with 1280x1024 resoloution, but it requires a
DFP (Digital Flat Panel) graphic card, with a brand new 20 pin connector
that I didn't even know existed.
 I have searched for a few, and it seems that they use the same chip sets as
their analog siblings; perhaps standard (OpenVMS) drivers would work.
 
Are there any digital DFP cards supported by OpenVMS?

The Answer is :

 
  Please see the section in the OpenVMS FAQ: "MISC10. Which video
  monitor works with which graphics controller?".  (The compatibility
  issues are basically the same with both LCD and CRT monitors.)
 
  You would particularly need a LCD that has an interface compatible
  with the graphics controller, and this generally requires an LCD
  that accepts SVGA video, or an LCD with a compatible controller and
  interface.
 
  For example, the Compaq TFT8000 LCD panel has been shown to be
  compatible with and to work with the video on various OpenVMS Alpha
  systems.  (This compatibility is obviously specific to the particular
  video controller(s) installed in the OpenVMS Alpha system.)
