TCP/IP telnetsym print queues stalling?

» close window

The Question is:

UCX version is 4.2.
We are currently having a problem with print queues going into a stalled
state when trying to print to TCP/IP printers via telnet. The reason they
stall is because of a delay in the network. We are trying to print to a
remote location via dial-on demand.
When the router sees a device trying to send data it knows the route to this
device. It then dials up the remote router connects and print jobs can then
print. The issue is it requires 30-45 seconds to complete this connection,
by this time the queue is
in a stalled state. Is there a setting for the queue or the System that can
be set to allow for a longer "timeout" before going into a stalled state?

The Answer is :

Please see previous discussions around stalling queues. Two key
discussions are "IP telnet print queue stalls?", and "delay between
  TCP/IP telnetsym print jobs?".
