Third-party product support? (Lotus, Process)

The Question is:

I've looked and I can't find. I'm not the VMS guy here at work, but to
solve this problem, I'm willing to ask anybody who may have info. I'm the
Domino mail admin and the problem we're seeing is VMS mail forwarded to
Domino sends the users VMS name inst
ead of the original senders address. I am told that the SMTP mail forwarder
being used is process.com's multinet version 4.2. Forgive me if I leave out
some details but I don't live in that world. For example:
wizard@digital.com sends mail to me. It i
s routed through VMS to Domino. The forward set up on VMS
smtp%"rdunn@notes.amis.com"
When the message finally gets to me, it will appear to be sent from
rdunn@poci.amis.com instead of wizard@digital.com

It's causing a lot of frustration with our users, and I do have the same
question in to Lotus, and process.com. Hopefully, someone will have some
good info for me.

Thanks
rdunn@poci.amis.com

The Answer is :

When you forward email on OpenVMS, it uses your return address.

If you use OpenVMS MAIL forwarding -- the MAIL utility's SET FORWARD
command -- then the sending address will appear, though the sender's
address will include the intervening node. (This is with OpenVMS and
  DECnet mail.)
