testback.bck.MEDIA=Compact/block=65534

i get the next error.

BACKUP-F-PROCINDEX, error processing index file on DSA0:, rvn 1
SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation

What do i need to do?

The Answer is :

  The OpenVMS Wizard would encourage you to try to get a good disk
  backup (standalone or otherwise). Then apply the available OpenVMS
  ECO kits, or better move to OpenVMS Alpha V7.1-2 or V7.2-1 and the
  ECO kits, and try this again. This particularly includes any ECO
  kits for BACKUP, shadowing, F11X (XQP), and RMS. Also check the
  system error logs using DIAGNOSE, looking for any relevent errors.

  If the problem persists, please contact the Compaq customer support
  center directly for assistance.

  The OpenVMS Wizard would encourage you to provide the exact command
  used. In particular, the target device for the BACKUP appears to
  be an (unspecified) tape device based on qualifiers.

    $ BACKUP/LOG/IMAGE/LIST=Test.Lis/IGNORE=(label,interlock) DSA0 -
        testback.bck/MEDIA=Compact/block=65534

  The OpenVMS Wizard would recommend:

    $ BACKUP/IMAGE DSA0: -
      mkcu:savesetname.bck/SAVE -
      /MEDIA=COMPACT/BLOCK=65534 -
      /REWIND/LABEL=FOO/IGNORE=LABEL

  or similar.
