Changing the DECwindows graphics display resolut

» close window

The Question is:

How do I adjust my screen resolution and check to see if OpenGL is loaded.

Thanks in advance,
Donal.

The Answer is :

The mechanism used to alter the screen resolution depends on the
particular monitor and the particular graphics controller involved.
Assuming that the controller and the monitor support the desired
resolution, the steps involved can range from a software configuration
setup to the alteration of a hardware switch or jumper.

The steps involved in matching up resolutions are referenced in the
OpenVMS FAQ, and the controller- and monitor-specific details involved
in changing resolution(s) are included in the associated hardware
documentation. If you do not have access to this documentation,
please contact your hardware service organization or Compaq Services.

To determine if a software product is loaded on OpenVMS Alpha, look
in the VMSINSTAL.HISTORY file, and also use the PRODUCT SHOW PRODUCT
  command.

Your OpenVMS Alpha version is woefully out of date. Please upgrade.
