Controlling HP Printer Banner?

Bonus question information for posted article ...
 
(817) TCPIP (UCX) LPR/LPD retry? Postscript? DCPS?
 
The printer generates an extra page with the following info:
 
    User: username
    Host: host.domain.name
    Class:  Job: jobname
 
How do I get rid of it?
 
The answer to the bonus question is ...
The HP Printer has the BANNER option enabled.
The fix is to TELNET to the printer and disable the BANNER option like so ...
 
$ telnet HPLJ4
