The Question is:

I'km getting errors in the log after connecting my system to an EMC symmetrix.
The drives show as offline. Here's a sample of the errorlog:

The Answer is :

Please move off of OpenVMS V7.1-1H2, and move to at least V7.1-2.

Please use the DECevent or Compaq Analyze tools, as these tools can obtain
the invalid or unexpected data returned by the third-party device.

Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center directly, and request
formal assistance integrating and testing this third-party device.
