Third-party printer? (MICR)

The Question is:

 
We currently are running VMS V6.2 with TCP/IP services V4.0 and COBOL V2.2.
 Our applications are written in Cobol.  We have a MICR printer not currently
 being used.  Is there an interface or a way to code output so that the MICR
 capabilities can be utili
zed?
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  The OpenVMS Wizard is not familiar with the features, capabilities,
  nor the interconnect used for this MICR printer.  It may or may not
  be feasible to (re)use this printer.
