Changing IP host address, default gateway?

The Question is:

 
How can I change the IP address and default gateway of my VMS 7.2? I tried
 
SET CONFIG INTER WE0 /HOST=172.23.134.70
 
and it doesn't work.

The Answer is :

 
  You could (and likely should) use the TCPIP configuration tool
  (TCPIP$CONFIG.COM) when changing major characteristics of the
  local TCP/IP Services host.
 
  Information on explicitly setting the IP default gateway is included
