Determining Current/Running OpenVMS Version?

The Question is:

 
How do I determine which version of OVMS my Aplha system is running? I need to
 run Oracle 7.3.4 and an advised that it requires OVMS 7.1-2. At login the
 system shows OpenVMS AXP 7.1.
 

The Answer is :

 
  Among other approaches, the DCL command SHOW SYSTEM will display the
