How do I debug a detached process using the debugger?

  Please start with topic (7552) and (1661), and please also then read
  through topics (1017), (1314), (3031) and (4129).
 
  Please consider upgrading to a release of OpenVMS with multiprocess
  debugger support, or (better) please move to an OpenVMS release with
  current support or with a Prior Version Support (PVS) offering.  For
