PPF Process Permanent File Limits?

Can I increase the process limit of 63 open process-permanent files?

The Answer is :

 
  This Process Permanent File (PPF) limit is hard-wired into the
  operating system.
 
  Internal RMS PPF support is limited to 63 IFB tables; to a maximum
  of 63 process-permanent files; to 63 internal File Access Blocks.
 
  The PIOPAGES system parameter setting can further limit the available
  PPFs, but there is no mechanism to increase the available internal
  data structures to support more than 63 simultaneous PPFs.
 
  Obvious workarounds would involve maintaining a pool of PPFs for
  operations, or use of the much larger number of normal (non-PPF)
  I/O channels that are available to applications.
