DCPS and Font (Size) Control?

» close window

The Question is:

DCPS - is there a way to change the font so that one can fit 132 width printing
in portrait mode. In normal 80 column width, the printing wraps around. The
printer that this report goes supports both PCL and Postscript.

The Answer is :

First, determine which ANSI escape sequences and values will adjust the
character width and spacing to allow 132 columns across the portrait page.
Then place these sequences into a device control module, which can be
accessed via a PRINT /SETUP or PRINT /FORM.

Details on these modules and on device control libraries are available
in topics including (1020) and (2370), and in the OpenVMS documentation.
