DECserver port framing errors?

» close window

The Question is:

Decserver ds732 port framing errors. My question is when your server receives
stupid amounts of framing errors is this generally a server problem or a
 config issue.

The Answer is :

Port framing errors imply a serial line baud (speed) mismatch between
the DECserver port and the connected serial device, or a mismatch of
  stop bits or port characteristics.
