SSH EAK Problem Report?

» close window

The Question is:

I have just downloaded and installed the ssh early adopters kit. I am running
OVMS 7.3-1 and HP TCPIP services 5.3 so my system should meet requirements.
The installation goes fine, but when I try to configure ssh server by running
 tcpip$config.com, I get
 the following error...

invalid qualifier value for /flags.tcpip

I did a set verify and ran it, and it (naturally) stops at the

$set service ssh/port=22...command

me thinks something is wrong with the new .com file?

Tia for your help

The Answer is :

While the OpenVMS Wizard thanks you for the report, the OpenVMS
Wizard would encourage using the "reporting problems" link listed at
the SSH EAK webpage -- it would appear that there was an installation
problem, or an installation step was skipped.

Try logging in anew or restarting OpenVMS or TCP/IP Services, as
obvious and potential workarounds for this problem. Most likely,
you will need to restart TCP/IP Services to reload the constituent
images re, imagesplaced by the SSH EAK. Probably TCPIP$UCP.EXE.
