Increasing dump file size?

The Question is:

 
Hi,
   I am having mv3100-40 system running on version 5.5-2.  Whenever i connect
 the TK50 drive mvax come out with error system dump incomplete - dump file too
 small. Please help me how to recover this problem. My memory is 8MB.

The Answer is :

 
  You will want to increase the size of your system dump file, using the
  directions in the OpenVMS system management documentation; using the
  sys$update:SWAPFILES.COM procedure or other similarly documented
  technique for increasing the size of your system dump file.
