Printer and Condensed Font Selection?

The Question is:

 
I am printing with print/queue=(queuename) file.
 
This is an IP printer.
 
All printing works except my question.
 
How do I print condensed printing to the printer?
 
 
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  You will have to send the printer-appropriate sequence to the
  printer, probably via printer setup forms or similar.  This can
  involve selecting the font via Postscript or PCL command, or
  by some other printer-specific command.

  landscape versus portrait printing, the underlying issues and
  requirements are basically the same -- the specific PCL used
