The Question is: We have a problem printing to our HP8100N printer using postscript. Pure text is fine! The queue appears to have all the PS entries (as provided by DCPS) but when the job prints all you get is the text versions of the PS code (no translation by the printer). We've tried all the tips in the manuals, read numerous 'ask the wizard' threads without any joy. We've tried setting the printer from AUTO into PS mode. This has been working for years, but now isn't. Any help would be gratefully received! The Answer is : Consider what has changed here, given you state this has worked. If the printer is not interpreting the incoming jobs as Postscript, then the DCPS queue is not targeting the appropriate port or the printer is not set to interprete the incoming data and to select the format. Please contact the support center, as details of the queue and the DCPS configuration will be required.
