Seeking ANT port? (makefile)

The Question is:

 
Is the tool ANT (Another Neat Tool , see http://ant.apache.org) available on
 VMS ?
If not, is there a tool available that can convert ANT xml scripts to makefiles
 or DCL ? We have a product to be ported on VMS that depends on ANT for its
 build and we are looking for any solution that may already be available.

The Answer is :

 
  The OpenVMS Wizard will assume you have already looked for an OpenVMS
  port of ANT -- the most common version is Java-based and accordingly
  should be easily portable to the OpenVMS Java environment, or you could
  choose to use the version of ANT available within the OpenVMS NetBeans
  environment -- and the OpenVMS Wizard will thus encourage you to port
  the particular Java-based makefile translation tool you prefer, and to
  provide it to the OpenVMS community.
