HP OpenVMS Galaxy support for EV7
HP OpenVMS Galaxy support on the EV7 AlphaServer
platform with OpenVMS Alpha Version 7.3-2
OpenVMS Galaxy will be available on AlphaServer ES47, ES80, or GS1280 systems OpenVMS Alpha Version 7.3-2. Testing continues with OpenVMS Alpha Version 7.3-2 to support Galaxy on the EV7 AlphaServer systems. Once qualification testing has completed, a support statement will be published at this site, including any updates or patches, if required.
HP OpenVMS Galaxy is supported now on the
EV7 AlphaServer platform with OpenVMS Alpha Version 7.3-1

If you are planning to use OpenVMS Galaxy on an AlphaServer ES47, ES80, or GS1280 system, the OpenVMS V7.3-1 operating system and AlphaServer console firmware may need to be updated. Please check to ensure the following minimum requirements are met:

Support on V7.3-1 requires the following OpenVMS patch kits:

AlphaServer SRM console

The minimum supported AlphaServer SRM console is V6.6-9. The V06 Firmware Release provides support for soft partitions on the ES47, ES80, and GS1280 systems with OpenVMS. V06 Firmware Release image GS1280_V06.EXE and additional information is available and can be downloaded from:
