HP PATHWORKS 32 provides customers with a cost-effective toolset for simple, integrated access to traditional applications on OpenVMS and UNIX systems from their preferred Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT and/or Windows 2000 desktop systems.
- Protected-mode DECnet and Related Utilities and APIs
- Password Assistant provides single login capabilities
- Terminal Emulation allows users to establish terminal sessions with a remote host computer
HP eXcursion, a Windows-based X Window/Motif server, allows desktop users to run X Windows applications on remote OpenVMS or UNIX systems.
- Use of DECnet for remote access
- Enables DECnet applications to use TCP/IP as a network service.
It adds value to the Microsoft Network operating system by enhancing connectivity to OpenVMS and Tru64 UNIX servers, and is part of the HP Enterprise Integration Client for Microsoft Windows package.
