HP Transaction Processing (TP) Web Connector is designed to provide seamless Web access to business applications running on HP ACMS, HP ACMSxp, or HP Portable TP for Windows NT systems.
- ACMS is a proven TP monitor for OpenVMS Alpha and VAX environments.
- ACMSxp combines the strengths of ACMS with the X/Open Structured Transaction Definition Language (STDL), to provide highly efficient, standards-based, portable TP applications. Currently ACMSxp runs on OpenVMS, Windows NT, Tru64 UNIX, HP-UX, and Solaris platforms.
- Portable TP for Windows NT is an application environment that creates traditional, multi-tier, Web and office-based, portable, database access applications.
HP TP Web Connector allows users to create browser interfaces to any of these products using either the Automation or C language interfaces provided. TP Web Connector can be used to connect Windows NT MTS-based systems to ACMS, ACMSxp, or Portable TP systems.
The Web Connector supports ACMS, ACMSxp, Portable TP, and TP Internet Server. When combined with TP Internet Server, TP Web Connector delivers the most secure Web-enabled system (from desktop to backend) on today's Internet/intranet. TP Web Connector is sold separately.
