OpenVMS Galaxy

The HP Galaxy Software Architecture on OpenVMS allows businesses to cope with exploding and rapidly changing computing demands.

OpenVMS Galaxy was designed specifically for (but not limited to) the new AlphaServer ES47, ES80, and GS1280 systems, allowing applications to fully utilize the capabilities of these powerful new systems.

OpenVMS Galaxy enables multiple instances of OpenVMS to run cooperatively in a single AlphaServer system, giving customers the ability to manage unpredictable, variable, or growing workloads quickly and easily.

Cerner Corporation quote:

"The combination of HP OpenVMS Galaxy, the new AlphaServer GS Series, and OpenVMS clustering will allow us to give our clients a level of performance that wasn't even dreamed of a couple of years ago."

Ron Mustard
Director, Client Data Center
Cerner Corporation
