Advanced Server
Advanced Server for OpenVMS will not be ported to Integrity servers. The HP OpenVMS Common Internet File System (CIFS) Based on Samba product will replace Advanced Server. Samba is the
industry-standard open source file and print server that ships with most distributions of UNIX and Linux today. The Samba (CIFS) offering on OpenVMS will include numerous industry-standard features
that Advanced Server does not offer today. Advanced Server will continue to be supported on AlphaServer systems running OpenVMS.
HP OpenVMS Common Internet File System (CIFS) Based on Samba product is presently in field test. The production quality release will support both Integrity server and AlphaServer systems and will be
made available in December 2007 for download from the OpenVMS website. It will be made available as part of the Foundation Operating Environment (FOE) of OpenVMS in the Q2 2008 timeframe.
DATATRIEVE
DATATRIEVE for OpenVMS VAX, Alpha, and now Integrity systems is a query, report, and data management tool for the OpenVMS Operating System. It provides a uniform access method for data stored by RMS,
Oracle Rdb, and Oracle CODASYL DBMS files on OpenVMS and data residing in other databases accessible by the Oracle Rdb Transparent Gateway products. Using DATATRIEVE, a novice or experienced user can
retrieve or modify data without considering the underlying storage method or physical location. With DATATRIEVE, users can achieve fast, user-transparent access to heterogeneous databases with
minimal drain on computing resources.

HP TDMS for Integrity and Alpha
HP TDMS for Integrity and Alpha is an older-generation character cell terminal forms package for transaction processing environments. DECforms migration tools are available via a third party.
HP TDMS Version 2.0 for OpenVMS is now available on both Integrity and Alpha. For Integrity, the TDMS V2.0 kit is included on the I64 Layered Products Library. For Alpha, the TDMS V2.0 kit is
included on the Alpha Software Products Library.

HP Common Internet File System (CIFS) Based on Samba V3
HP OpenVMS has delivered a Common Internet File System (CIFS) evaluation release (Based on Samba V3) for both Integrity servers and AlphaServer systems.
An HP CIFS Production Release (Based on Samba V3) on Integrity servers and AlphaServer systems is planned for H2 2006.
Samba is the industry-standard open source file and print server that ships with most distributions of UNIX and Linux today. This up-to-date Samba offering on OpenVMS will provide numerous
industry-standard features that the Advanced Server does not offer today, and will be supported by HP. OpenVMS will not port Advanced Server to Integrity servers. However, Advanced Server will
continue to be supported on AlphaServer systems running OpenVMS.

HP SNA Data Transfer Facility Client for OpenVMS
HP SNA Printer Emulator for OpenVMS
HP SNA 3270 Terminal Emulator for OpenVMS
HP SNA Gateway Management Software (Has been ported to Integrity and is available now for ST. CT availability will be delivered on the Q1 2008 SPL.)
HP SNA Server for OpenVMS is not planned on OpenVMS Integrity at this time; however, it could be ported in the future based on customer demand. Porting the HP SNA Server for OpenVMS to Integrity
would also require a driver and qualification effort in support of a NIC to complete this product.
