The OpenVMS Group and Digital Press have agreed to partner
to strengthen and enhance their working relationship with the goal of
collaborating to update existing Digital Press OpenVMS titles, generate new
titles, and engage in joint marketing activities.
 Increasing the
number of available OpenVMS titles and keeping existing titles up-to-date
demonstrates clearly to existing and future customers, users, and partners that
OpenVMS is very much alive and technically strong. The OpenVMS Group and
Digital Press are already working together to develop future products and to
investigate web-based delivery. They have agreed to cross-promote their
products and services through their respective channel partners.
Digital Press is an important partner because they deliver technically accurate
information (books and electronic media) written by experts who use OpenVMS.
This partnership ensures a strong, successful relationship between OpenVMS and
Digital Press, and will serve to drive new business opportunities.
