Partner System Management Tools
Proper management is essential to ensure the availability and the performance of IT systems.

To meet diverse system management needs, OpenVMS can guarantee a large selection of tools in the form of Schedule Managers, Event Managers, Console Managers and Performance Tools.

System Management Tools
Schedule managers Allow specific actions to be triggered at determined times, including repetitive and periodical activities
(for example, nightly backups).
Event managers Monitor a system and report occurrences and events that may require an action or may indicate a critical or alarming situation (for example, memory running low, security break-in attempt).
Console managers Enable a remote connection to, and emulation of a system console to allow system messages to be displayed and commands to be issued.
Performance manager Monitor system performance by collecting and analyzing data, to allow proper tailoring and configuration of system resources. Performance Managers may also collect historical data for capacity planning.
System management training Deliver OpenVMS training courses.
Services/integration Provide consulting and implementation of reliable, scalable and secure business solutions.
Enterprise management tool Monitors and manages heterogeneous computer environment
