ACUXE is an Array Configuration Utility (ACU) used to configure Smart Array Controllers such as, SA 6402, 6404, 5302, and 5304 on OpenVMS. This tool has limited functionality, and does not support the newer SAS based Smart Array Controllers.

MSA$UTIL, a replacement for ACUXE, is a system management and diagnostic tool that is capable of configuring integrated RAID functionality for Modular Smart Arrays (MSA) 1000, 1500, HP Smart Arrays (SA) 6402, 6404, 5302, 5304, P400 , P800, P410i, and P411. MSA$UTIL is a command line (CLI) utility and is available along with the OS for OpenVMS V8.4 and OpenVMS V8.3-1H1. (For OpenVMS V8.3 and earlier supported versions MSA$UTIL is available in FIBRE_SCSI TIMA kits).
