HP Array Configuration Utility - Installation/Upgrade Instructions
The following steps provides you instructions to upgrade and install ACUXE:
Upgrade to V6.40-11P09A ACUXE from V6.40-11P09 ACUXE by executing the ACUXE_CLEANUP.COM script.
Installation of the V640 ACUXE kit is performed after installing or updating the system or cluster environment with the
Insight Management Agents kit V3.4 (or later)
or System Management Homepage. Refer to Insight Management Agents Installation Guide
to install Management Agents or System Management Homepage Installation Guide to
install System Management Homepage. Note: HP System Management Homepage or HP Insight Management Agents cannot
be installed on your system at the same time.
Users installing the V640 kit on a system or cluster environment that has or had an ACUXE kit installed previously,
must use the ACUXE_CLEANUP.COM installation support script to perform the Utility installation. This script ensures that all
pre-installation conditions are appropriate before kit component delivery is initiated and prepares the system or cluster
environment for cluster-wide kit installation.
The ACUXE_CLEANUP.COM script is packaged as part of the self-extracting archive containing the V640 ACUXE PCSI kit and is available from the
ACUXE site. After downloading the V640 kit distribution file and placing it in SYS$UPDATE, run the .EXE file to extract the V640
PCSI kit and the accompanying ACUXE_CLEANUP.COM script.
Install and upgrade the ACUXE utility by following the instructions provided after launching the ACUXE_CLEANUP.COM script as follows:
$ @SYS$UPDATE:ACUXE_CLEANUP.COM
Then verify with the following command to confirm that ACUXE is upgraded to newer version:
