security enhanced VMS (SEVMS)

For use with all external Digital World-Wide Web Servers

SEVMS is an enhanced version of Digital's OpenVMS operating system designed to meet the criteria for a "Class B1" secure operating system as defined in the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Trusted Computer System Evaluation Criteria, DoD 5200.28-STD. Formal evaluation for SEVMS VAX version 6.0 was successfully completed on August 31, 1993 by Digital Equipment Corporation under the National Computer Security Center (NCSC) Trusted Product Security Evaluation Program. SEVMS VAX version 6.0 appears on the NCSC Evaluated Product List (EPL) as NCSC-EPL-93/003.

Digital is participating in the NCSC Rating Maintenance Program (RAMP).
