MAIL shared file

The Question is:

Probably a stupidly simple question (not very technical).

How do I create a ".share" file. I need to exchange binary
files with a collegue via email and all I can find is
references to how to extract them not how to create them!

Any help much appreciated...

(using VMS 5.5 )

The Answer is:


    I suspect you are referring to files produces by a
    tool know as "VMS_SHARE". This tool is available on
    the VMS freeware CD. This CD comes free with VMS V6.1
    and available on Decus and at Decus web sites.
    You may also obtain this software via the web through:
