Ask the Wizard Questions

Netscape navigator under OpenVMS

The Question is:

Is there any way of using the Windows 95 version of Netscape Navigator
through a modem connection to my OpenVMS account?

The Answer is:

Not without involving the local system management at your site,
particularly around the communications protocol and communications
speed used on the modem link.

Depending on the type of display available under OpenVMS, you
can use Mosaic (shipped with Motif) or Lynx. An OpenVMS version
of Netscape is available for downloading.
