DECwindows: SET DISPLAY to SUN system

The Question is:

Is there a way to run an X window into a Sun Server ?
We have some applications on the Sun that run under
Solaris/openwin and would like to run then remote from
our vaxstation 4000/96s. If you know of a way or any
additional s/w please let me know.

Many Thanks

The Answer is:

   OpenVMS with DEC TCP/IP Services (licensed with the NAS package,
and available seperately) supports both incoming and outgoing X
Windows sessions. How X Windows is configured on a Sun...

	First make sure that TCP/IP support for DECwindows is turned on
in DECW$PRIVATE_SERVER_SETUP.COM by setting DECW$SERVER_TRANSPORTS to
include TCPIP (look at SYS$MANAGER:DECW$PRIVATE_SERVER_SETUP.TEMPLATE)

	Then make sure the security is set up to allow access between
your OpenVMS System and the SUN system. And finally,

    Use the command:

    $ SET DISPLAY/NODE=sun_node_name/TRANSPORT=TCPIP/CREATE

    and then run your application.
